He had been a victim of muscular dystrophy for 11 years. He was born Nov. 29, 1951, in Coudersport, a son of Margaret Furman Baker and William H. Baker. Roger was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church. Survivors include his mother and father, two sisters, - Sue Ellen and - Joyce Ann; - one brother, Keith; - his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Beatrice Furman, and several aunts and uncles. Friends were received at the Lindhome Funeral Home and a funeral service was held Saturday at 1:00 p.m. from St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church with the Rev. J. Samuel Johns officiating. - Interment was in Sweden Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers were - Herbert Anderson, - Charles Updegraff, - Loren Vosburg, - Lawrence Reuning, - Stuart Brown and - George Raybuck.
