Sealy Miss Sealy, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Philip Sealy of Austin left Sunday for a one-year course in practical nursing at the Bradford Hospital. The course is a Bradford Area School project. Miss Sealy, a 1957 graduate of the Austin Joint High School and a 1958 graduate of the Williamsport School of Commerce, was recently employed as a secretary at Clark Bros., Olean. Former Residents Guests At Chicken Barbecue Mr. and Mrs. Arch Baker were guests of honor at a chicken barbecue Sunday afternoon given by the Birthday Club of which Mrs. Baker was a member when they lived in Coudersport. Members present and invited husbands were - Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Anderson, - Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Rexford, - Mr. and Mrs. Edward Fuller, - Mrs. Warren Parker, - Mr. and Mrs. B. F. Howard, - Mrs. Joseph Easton and - Mr. and Mrs. Howard Becker. The party was held on the lawn at the B. F. Howard home. Ed Twiggs Dies Suddenly In Ocean City, N. J. Word has reached the Enterprise that Ed Twiggs, a resident here for several years, died suddenly in Ocean City, N. J. about 3:30 last Saturday afternoon. He had been visiting his mother. Coudersport people who attended the funeral in Philadelphia early this week were - Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Uhlman and daughter Andrea, - Kenneth Lewis and - Ronald Yentzer. (An obituary will appear next week in this newspaper.) To Be Bride Miss Dixie Lee Stuckey Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Stuckey, of Austin, announce the engagement of their daughter, Dixie Lee, to William H. Ripple, of Columbia Station, Ohio. Miss Stuckey is a member of the 1959 class of the Austin Joint High School. Mr. Ripple, a 1957 graduate of the Austin Joint High School, is employed as an apprentice in the tool and die department of the Chevrolet Division of General Motors at Cleveland, O. A November wedding is being planned. Excuse It, Please! ''The Rockets Rock and Roll Band" is an added feature at The Old Barn at North Bingham this Saturday night, Sept. 19.   	20200204HAv- Obit of Roger Allen Baker, 15 The Potter Enterprise Coudersport, Pennsylvania 13 Sep 1967, Wed • Page 2 Roger Allen Baker Fifteen-Year-Old Boy Dies; Ill Many Years Roger Allen Baker, 15, of Coudersport died Thursday, Sept. 7, 1967, at his home. He had been a victim of muscular dystrophy for 11 years. He was born Nov. 29, 1951, in Coudersport, a son of Margaret Furman Baker and William H. Baker. Roger was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church. Survivors include his mother and father, two sisters, - Sue Ellen and - Joyce Ann; - one brother, Keith; - his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Beatrice Furman, and several aunts and uncles. Friends were received at the Lindhome Funeral Home and a funeral service was held Saturday at 1:00 p.m. from St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church with the Rev. J. Samuel Johns officiating. - Interment was in Sweden Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers were - Herbert Anderson, - Charles Updegraff, - Loren Vosburg, - Lawrence Reuning, - Stuart Brown and - George Raybuck.
