Five Cent to Dollar Articles.
L. C. Hamlin, for many years a store manager for one of the big chains, has leased the Fleschutz store building and is remodeling the two stores into one. He stated to an Enterprise scribe yesterday that he will specialize in articles from five cents to one dollar.
Mr. Hamlin had expected to open for business within the next week or so but delay in the arrival of fixtures has made his opening date uncertain.
For a long period of years Mr. Hamlin was located in Elmira but he was transferred to Racine, Wis., and it is from that point he is moving to Coudersport with his family which consists of Mrs. Hamlin and their two sons, aged 12 and 19 years. They are at home in the Fickler residence on Ross Glen.
Coudersport appealed to Mr. Hamlin as a substantial and slowly growing town. The building activity here is steady, which is far better than sudden mushroom growth that may as suddenly collapse at any time. The people of Coudersport will join the Enterprise in extending to Mr. Hamlin and his family a hearty welcome and best wishes for success.
