GOLD, Pa. -- David H. Lewis, died unexpectedly Wednesday (Dec. 23) in his home in Gold, Pa.
Born Jan. 24, 1896 in Genesee Township, Pa., he was the son of the late Frank and Catherine William Lewis.
A retired farmer, he was a member of the Shinglehouse (Pa.) IOOF and the Gold Grange.
Besides his widow, Florence Lattin Lewis, he is survived by two stepsons, George and Chester Beach of Westfield, Pa., and a brother, George Lewis, of Roulette, Pa., four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Friends may call from 7 lo 9 p.m. Friday al Ihe Koch and Kear Funeral Home, Ulysses, Pa., where services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Leslie Thomas, pastor of the Ulysses Free Methodisl Church, officiating.
Interment will be in the Raymond Cemetery..
