HARRIET COOK DIED SUDDENLY Mrs. Harriett Cook, wife of the Abram (sure this is a misprint for James) Cook, died rather suddenly at about 3 o'clock Sunday morning at her home in Taylor street. Mrs. Cook had been in poor health for several months but her death was somewhat unexpected. She was taken with a pain back of her heart during the night time. A doctor was called but before he could arrive she had passed away. She was 80 years old and one of the best known and most respected woman of Canisteo and a member of the M.E. Church an a loyal contributor to its support. She was deeply respected by all. Most of her life was spent in Canisteo. She leaves the following children: - Edgar P. Cook and son Arthur of Canisteo; - Mrs. Lulu Smedley of Kane Pa., - Mrs. Alice Knapp of Hornell; - Willis of Canisteo; - J. Milton of Binghamton. Also nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held this afternoon at 3 o'clock from the house in Taylor street, Rev, J.H. Sandmeyer officiating. Burial in Hillside. Comments Write a comment.
