Fanton-Varney
Daughter of N. Bingham Couple Wed to Former Roulette Man.
Mrs Betty Fanton, daughter of Mr and Mrs. Ellery Ordway, of North Bingham, was married Saturday evening, Oct. 24, 1959, to Raymond C. Varney, son of Mr and Mrs Carlos Varney of Roulette.
The Rev Clair Statham, pastor of the Hammondsport Methodist Church, performed the double-ring ceremony.
- Mr & Mrs Seneca Walker, of Bath, NY were the attendants.
- Victoria and Marlin Fanton, Mrs Varney's children, were also present.
Mrs Varney is an employee of the Bath Westinghouse Tube Plant and Mr Varney is employed by a building contractor. The newly-weds will reside in Bath, RD1, NY.

Aged Resident of Genesee Dies
Service Tomorrow Afternoon.
Mrs Martha McCanns, of Genesee, died Tuesday, Oct 27, at the age of 87.
A resident of Genesee for several years, Mrs McCanns is survived by
- one son, William Strait, of Watertown, NY &
- a sister, Mrs Lewis Slawson, Genesee.
Friends may call at the Lloyd W. Kear Funeral Home in Ulysses, where services will be conducted Thursday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock with
- the Rev George R. Kingsley officiating.
- Interment will be in the Genesee Cemetery.
