She will be remembered as Rose Langdon, having taught school here about five years ago. She was the only child of Mr. and Mrs. Vene Langdon of Whitesville. They have got the tools loose on the Davis well and have commenced drilling again . Mrs. Nettie Simons and Etta Miller were guests of Newton Wood last Friday. Mrs. John Clair, who has been helping to care of her sister, Miss Rhoda Goodnoe has returned home. Mrs. Develing and Mrs. Cora Ball were guests of Mrs. Thomas Conlogue one day last week. She had been sick but a few days with the grip when she suddenly grew worse and there was no way to keep her. Mary, who was seven years years and eight months, was a beautiful child and a general favorite with all who knew her. She was a niece of Miss Mary Woodard of the public schools and of Mrs. F. W. Frank. Funeral services were held in the Coudersport Catholic church at 11 o'clock Wednesday morning. Rev. Father Sheehan officiated . Grabe & Son, funeral directors.
