Hi Joyce.
I've been trying to get hold of your sister Janice to continue our conversation on your grandmother's bio-parents, with no luck, figuring her email address from the time is no longer valid, then I realized that you had been involved in some of the discussion, so...
hoping that your email address has not changed in the meantime...
Have you made any progress in identifying your grandmother's ancestry?
I'm thinking more and more that the connection could indeed be my great grandparents Fred & Josesphine Dingman Snyder. Still no proof, though.
Sincerely,
john

Janice,
Regarding the ‘Recce Reece’ thing, it’s obviously a hold-over from Rizzi.
But it does sound like the name has been evolving. What do they use now?
Or is it evolving differently in different branches by now?

Janice,
Is the 1965 photo of you and your sister?
Would you please clarify Recce and Reece? Was someone simply spelling it wrong or was it old-world spelling?

Hi John,
Thank you for your last e-mail message. I am very impressed by the amount of research you have done. I hope, somewhere along the line, our paths will cross.
I am forwarding some old photographs of my grandmother. Her many names include Adelaide Martin, Aileen Reece, Eileen Reece and Eileen Stark.
She eventually married Joseph Stark of Shamokin, PA. (German heritage).
I am preparing some other family photographs to send to you.
Perhaps you will find your great grandmother had visited New York at some point.
Have you established any link with your other DNA matches?
Sincerely,
Janice Kelley
