PORT ALLEGANY - Karen A. Green, 63, of Port Allegany, passed away Wednesday (Sept. 5, 2012) in the Charles Cole Memorial Hospital, Coudersport.
Born Dec. 2, 1948, in Coudersport, she was a daughter of the late Lawrence and Isabelle Casbeer Kenealy.
Mrs. Green was a 1966 graduate of Coudersport High School and worked at Pure Carbon, now Morgan AMT of Coudersport.
She is survived by
- one daughter, Cheri (Bob) Yentzer of Port Allegany;
five sons,
- Michael Green,
- James (Diane) Green,
- Larry Green,
- Mark Green and
- Roger (Angela) Green, all of Port Allegany;
14 grandchildren,
- Brittany, - Hayley, - Shelby, - Ashley,
- Tydel, - Tiffany, - Amber, - Riley,
- Jennifer, - Jordyn, - Jarid, - Somer,
- Cortney and - Travis;
three great-grandchildren,
- Kya, - Draven and - Dakota;
- one sister, Karla Groat of Sunbury;
- one brother, Clark Kenealy of Dallas, Texas;
and several half-sisters, nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a great-grandchild, Landen.
There will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday in the Hartle-Tarbox Funeral Homes Inc., 105 Main St., Port Allegany. The Rev. Randall Headley, pastor of the United Methodist Church of Port Allegany, will be officiating.
- Burial will be in St. Eulalia Cemetery, Coudersport.
