Rouse, 93, a resident of Pleasant Hill, Philipsburg RD, died at 3:35 am today in the Philipsburg State General Hospital where he had been a patient for three weeks. He was born May 18, 1876 in Canada and was retired from the Great Lakes Carbon Co., Niagara Falls, NY. He was wed in 1944 to the former Mary Elizabeth Simcox at Elmira, NY. She survives along with these children: - Mrs. dorance (Anna Bell) De-Mason of Lockport, NY and - Kenneth, Puente, Calif, and these step-children: - Robert S. Simcox and - James Simcox, both of Philipsburg; - Mrs. Fred (Frances) Cassick, Buffalo, NY; - Mrs. Leroy (Sara) Goss, Deep View, NY; and - Enoch Simcox, of Philipsburg. He was the last of his family and was of the Presbyterian faith. Services will be held at 2 pm Saturday from the Dahlgren Funeral Home with the Rev. Carl C. Gray officiating. - Burial will follow in the Philipsburg Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 pm today and on Friday grom 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm.
