Only child is Oren Sherman Jones. ---------- 2nd Husband is Corp. Kenney C Lowell (Married before the 1870 census) ---------- DIED LOWELL. On Saturday, June 18th, Mrs. Almira Lowell, aged 38 years, wife of K. C. Lowell, of this town. "Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord" The funeral services were held in the Court House on Monday, conducted by Rev. Wm. Preston, and were largely attended by the friends and relatives of the deceased. [Published in the Spirit Lake Beacon, June 24, 1875.] ---------- Mr. K. C. Lowell, who has lived among our people for a number of years past, left for his old home in Maine last week. Mr. L. is a worthy and industrious citizen, and we regret his departure.
