Those from Genesee that attended the Farm Show In Harrisburg the past week were: Elizabeth Mc Cain, Cynthia Parker, Nancy stead-man, Carol Mattison, Marlene Pride, Kathy Pride, Theresa Clancy, John Mertsock, Kenneth Moag, Dale Steadman, Otto Story and David Chamberlain. Nancy Steadman received first prize on her wool dress; second on a fancy apron and fifth on a tailored coat. These were school projects for home economics.
Kenyons to Retire From Business
Mr. and Mrs. Howard G. Kenyon will soon retire after many years of operating a general store in this village.
They will be succeeded by their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Reed, of Genesee, R.D.
The store has been owned by members of the Kenyon family for over 50 years.

Stacy L. Bachman
Stacy Lee Bachman, two-month son of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence (Kathryn Palmatier) Bachman, died unexpectedly Wednesday (Sept. 9, 1970) in Long Beach, Calif.
He was born July 11, 1970 in Long Beach.
Survivors, in addition to his parents, include a sister, Amanda Sue, at home; maternal grandparents, Mr. .and Mrs. Kenneth Palmatier of Genesee; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence V. Bachman of Matawan, N.J.; maternal great-grandmother, Mrs. Fred Baker of Genesee; paternal great-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Franklin Southgate of Manahawkin, N.Y. and Mr. and Mrs. Vere Bachman of Brook-ville.
A funeral service was held Saturday in Koch and Kear Funeral Home, Ulysses, with the Rev. Albert Cox, pastor of Genesee United Methodist Church, and the Rev. William Barnes, pastor of Burlington United Methodist Church, officiating.
Burial was in Genesee Cemetery.
