New equipment is being installed at the Coudersport Laundry, purchased two weeks ago by David Hammond and Donald Berglund. The building is being renovated throughout.

Mary's Beer Garden Sold
Paul Ulkins and William Schroeder, new owners of Mary's Beer Garden, yesterday received notice of the liquor license transfer. The business was purchased from Angelo English, their father-in-law.
Both new owners are ex-service men. Mr. Schroeaer served in the Navy and Mr. Ulkins in the Army.
The former has been employed by the State Liquor Control Commission. For six years he has been manager of the Galeton liquor store. Mr. Ulkins has been employed by the Brownhill-Kramer Co. for the last 11 years.
Both resigned their positions on July 25.
Mr. English had owned and operated the tavern for 13 years. Ill health forced his retirement from business.
Notice of the transfer of the liquor license from the former owner, Lyle Mewherter, was received yesterday by Sam Shaneen, owner of the National Hotel.
Opening of the recently-completed taproom at Port O' Call, Ladona, awaits receipt of the liquor license, one of the owners said yesterday.
Will Open Cleaning Establishment
Frank Bruzzi, former Marine, has acquired the Olmsted Building on Water St. The owner will open a dry cleaning establishment shortly. The building is undergoing major repairs.
Louis Tasillo Buys Property
Louis Tasillo has purchased the building on Port Allegany Road containing his restaurant and service station from Angelo English. The consideration is believed to be in "excess of $6,750."
The new owner plans extensive alterations.
Used Car Dealer Moves
Haskins Mantz Motors, used car dealer, and L. C. McCaigue, beer distributor, have exchanged locations. The former business occupies the Main St. Garage Main St. at Allegany Ave. Mr. McCaigue has moved into the Lutz Building on Port Allegany Road, former home of the auto dealers.
