Local Youth Weds
Franklin F. Mosch Marries New Jersey Young Lady.
Easter lilies, spring flowers and palms decorated North Presbyterian Church, Elmira, N. Y., Easter Sunday afternoon at 4:00 o'clock for the wedding of Miss Anita Taylor Davison and Franklin Farley Mosch. The Rev. James Collea officiated at the service uniting in marriage the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert L. Davison of Edgworth, N. J., and the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank J. Mosch of Coudersport.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of white satin with lace inserts, long sleeves. A cathedral length train terminated the full skirt.
Her fingertip veil of illusion was held in place by a Juliet cap of satin petals. She carried a shower bouquet of white rosebuds.
Mrs. Ray Titcomb of New Haven Conn., was matron of honor. Miss Patricia Davison, sister of the bride, and Miss Virginia Kelly of Katonah, N. Y., were bridesmaids. The matron of honor wore pink embroidered organza, the bridesmaids were gowned in orchid taffeta. All carried bouquets of deep pink roses and wore matching head bands.
Ray Wilson was best man. The ushers were DeVere Townsend and Howard Johnson, all of Elmira.
Mrs. Robert Davison chose a beige crepe and lace gown with yellow and brown accessories. The groom's mother wore a navy ensemble with red and white to highlight the blue.
A reception was held in the church parlor with college classmates of the bride serving at the refreshment table. A dinner for the bridal party and families of the bride and groom was held later at the Mark Twain Hotel.
After April 1, Mr. and Mrs. Mosch will be at their home at 308 Magnolia Ave., Elmira, N.Y.
Daughter Born To Genesee Couple
A daughter was born to Mr. and Mrs. Charles E. Proctor, of Genesee, on Monday, Mar. 26, in the Jones Memorial Hospital, Wellsville.
County persons admitted to the hospital since March 21 include:
- Mrs. Vaughn Kibbe, Genesee;
- Miss Regina Butler, Genesee, R. D. 1;
- Leonard Butler, Genesee, R. D. 1;
- Mrs. Charles Moon, Galeton, R. D. 2, and
- Mrs. Genevieve Eaton, Genesee.
