MRS. GEORGE NICHOLS SHINGLEHOUSE, Pa.
Mrs. Donna Nichols, 48, of Honeoye St., died Saturday (Oct. 15, 1977) in St. Francis Hospital, Olean, N.Y., after a short illness.
Born May 30, 1929 in Coudersport, she was a daughter of Ernest and Angie Parke Drake.
In 1946, she married George (Mike) Nichols, who survives.
Mrs. Nichols was a member of the United Methodist Church of Shinglehouse.
Besides her husband, she is survived by
- a daughter, Mrs. James (Sherry) Bump of Shinglehouse;
two sons,
- Wayne E. Nichols of Newport News, Va. and
- Donald R. Nichols, at home; two grandchildren;
three brothers,
- her twin, Donald Drake of Shinglehouse,
- Duncan Cobb of Hoquiam, Wash. and
- Craig Cobb of Knoxville;
- a sister, Mrs. Robert (Janet) Hoose of Walton, N.Y.;
and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Howard Funeral Home, Shinglehuse, today and Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. from where funeral and committal services will be held Wednesday (Oct. 19, 1977) at 2 p.m.
The Rev. John Clark, pastor of the United Methodist Church of Shinglehouse, will officiate.
- Burial will be at the con- venience of the family. Memorials, if desired, may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
