MRS. MARY TAUSCHER DEAD
MANY ADMIRABLE TRAlTS OF CHARACTER
Mrs. Mary K. Tauscher, wife of Edward F. Tauscher, died at her home in Sweden Valley at about 9 o'clock yesterday morning. About four years ago Mrs. Tauscher suffered a partial stroke of paralysis and she has been gradually but surely failing both in body and mind. She was a very bright energetic woman, and possessed many admirable qualities of mind and of heart.
Mrs. Tauscher was born in the borough of Coudersport on August 2nd, 1861, her parents being Mr. and Mrs. Andrew E. Kelly.
She is survived by four children: one son and three daughters, all being born during her marriage with F. F. Lyon. They are:
- Charles W. Lyon;
- Miss Elizabeth Lyon,
- Florence, now Mrs. John Shedd, of Buffalo;
- Mame, now Mrs. Ralph Whittaker of Elkland. She is also survived by one brother,
- W. E. Kelly of Cleveland.
For some time Mrs. Tauscher, has been almost helpless and Mr. Tauscher had all he could attend to, but he says he will never forget the generous assistance and tender care of the daughters and that Miss Elizabeth especially has done everything possible for a loving daughter to do that she has been almost constantly with her mother for the past month or more. It is certain the sufferer had the tenderest care and that everything possible was done for her comfort. Her brother, Mr. Kelley was here from Cleveland some time ago and arrived a few days ago again and he was also very generous in his attentions to his stricken sister.
The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon at the house. Schutt & GilIon, funeral directors.

F. Lyon. They are:
- Charles W. Lyon;
- Miss Elizabeth Lyon,
- Florence, now Mrs. John Shedd, of Buffalo;
