James Lorraine French, son of Frank A. & Lillian Covey French, was born 24 June 1894. I don't know when this photo was taken, but it is sad to think of the horror that his parents would soon go through, since James would soon die, 19 March 1896. James' father Frank was a book keeper in an office in Coudersport (1910 census). His grandfather was Dr. Amos French and his grandmother, Elizabeth Shaffer French, having been committed in the Warren State Hospital since 1885, would be buried next to her grandson in August 1912, in the St. Eulalia Cemetery, Coudersport.
