Thanks, I just found them. Diana is already in my Tree; we are 2nd cousins 2x removed, which would make us... 3rd cousins 1x removed. Was your mother Ida?

Ok. I understand now. Michael and Rebecca would have been my grandpa Weimer's grandpa if I am correct. Because my grandpa Victor wanted my mother to name my youngest brother George Washington after his father. Grandpa Weimer's parents were George Washington and Susan Knight Weimer

She has one brother left and his name is Meril Weimer. He lives in Baltimore. He was born November 3, 1932. The half brothers were Freda's from her first marriage to Clinton Stevens from the Stueben County area in NY.

Thx. So much! I had your mother in my tree only as ‘private’ or ‘living’. I’m trying to fill in ‘all my relatives’, however distant, so it’s nice to meet you, cuz!

Wow, Don, thank you! That’s a lot to absorb, fills in so much. I was looking last night for Harold Carpenter, to make the connection. I think I have 'Jr's' father, born 1900(?) I’m working on a huge puzzle in the genealogy of the area and it’s exhilarating to connect different lines with a new marriage (new to me). Thank you again for sharing.
As for me, my grandmother, mom's side, was the identical twin of Eva Snyder Swift of Hebron, and sister of Grace Snyder Pepperman and Liz Snyder Tauscher. Iva married John SPRING and they raised a family of 9 kids in Allegany, Cattaraugus, NY.
Liz and her husband Wm Raymond Tauscher were my neighbors in Coudersport; Uncle Ray was a prolific carpenter, from whom I learned invaluable skills over my early years. Ray and Liz adopted my mother's youngest sister, Sue, after their mother Iva died of cancer, at half the age of her identical twin (contracted at Acme Electric, working in an atmosphere of what we now know are carcinogenic chemicals.)

I believe Jr's father was born 1899. I believe if you check find a grave for Harold Carpenter he is buried at Rathbone cemetery in Coneville with his wife Mary (Stebbins)

A relative of mine Judy Mead Blackman has a lit on my side. Both sides as far as my parents. She is related to me in the Stives side but her mother was married to one of my mother's brothers at one time.

Don Stives I’ve got one of those, too! Probably not as uncommon as I thought, but my parents are from quite different areas. Through the DNA testing, I am in touch with a Hall (mom's side) who is also descended from Hatfields, of feud fame in West Virginia, dad's side.
And yep, that Harold is the one. Now for some cool linking!
