Dr. May Greenwell Died at San Jose From Influenze
Funeral of Well-Known Former Lodi Resident Will be Held Here This Morning
Dr. May Greenwell, formerly of Lodi, passed away in San Jose last Friday night after a week's illness of influenza-pneumonia. She had been in Sanger visiting
- her sister, Mrs. C.E. Davis,
and was enroute to her home in Santa Cruz when she was taken ill. She got as far as San Jose and being too ill to go on, went to the home of
- her step-daughter, Mrs. Pearl Kelly.
The deceased left Lodi twelve years ago. Since that time she had been practicing in Santa Cruz.
She was the daughter of A.W. Keagle and
sister of - George,
- Claude and
- Alfred Keagle of Lodi,
- Roy Keagle of Stockton and
- Mrs. C.E. Davis of Stockton.
The remains were brought to Lodi and the funeral, which will be private, will be held this forenoon at 11 o'clock from the chapel of Hale & Bawden. Rev. Haley will officiate and
- interment will be made in Lodi cemetery.
