The death of Emma Tauscher Mitchell occurred Saturday (Feb. 18, 1950), at the family home at Ladona. She had been ill three months a part of which time she was a patient at the Potter County Memorial Hospital. ' Mrs. Mitchell was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Foster Tauscher. She was born at North Hollow, (Sweden Township), April 10, 1876. Her whole life was spent in this immediate vicinity. Mrs. Mitchell was a member of the Methodist Church, Central Grange and the Ladona Community Club. She was active in church affairs. Mr. and Mrs. Mitchell celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in 1946. Survivors are her husband and two children, - Guy Mitchell and - Mrs. Florence Gunzburger, with two grandchildren, - Mrs. Madge Ayers and - Gary Gunzburger. There are two sisters and a brother, - Mrs. George Rossman, Rochester, N. Y., - Mrs. Arch Snyder and - Harry Tauscher, Coudersport. Funeral service was held from the family home Tuesday at 2:00 o'clock with the Rev. Gordon W. Loomis officiating. - Interment was in Inez Cemetery. Pallbearers were - G. J. Pfuntner, - David Gunzburger, - Howard Halloran, - Kenneth Scott, - Donald Herzog and - Ray Tauscher.
