This looks like a scan of the original print. It is reproduced in Merl Baker's "descendants of William Baker" Merle fabian Baker published it about 1985. The Potter Connty Historical has a copy. I have a digital (.pdf) version of it.

I have this picture in my living room. My father Howard Baker is not identified in your list. He is standing to the left and in front of Fred Baker who is holding Ronald.

I'm sorry, Anna Rigo I've no idea how Howard (and Kenneth) got lost in my post- I had them in the list, simply pasted above, did not notice they were missing until I read your note. I have corrected it. (Did the same copy/paste as before, but this time I counted, to make sure they're all there.) Thank you for pointing that out! Also for mentioning that Howard is your father!

Howard Baker is grandson of Moses Baker, who is half-brother of Amandan Baker. Here's a ghost story: This is copied from "Descendants of William Baker" by Merl Fabian Baker, 1985
(William Baker is my great, great, great, great, great grandfather, born in England and a veteran of the Revolutionary War, U.S. Patriot side.)
Ghost With Boots
Circa 1890 - As told by Clara Stillwell - Cleo Legacy
The Fishing Creek Cemetery is located on the line common to Roulet and Clara township. The first man to be buried there was Amandan Baker, a Civil War veteran.
On his tombstone it is recorded that he died 9 Nov. 1889, age 56. Those who knew Amandon said he always wore leather boots winter and summer. Some of the dead appear to find it difficult to give up earthly possessions, even their physical bodies for which they have no need. Such a ghost was that of Amandon Baker.
One night Willis Taucher was walking down the road above the cemetery, A man suddenly appeared ahead of him, earring (wearing? carrying) a pair of boots over his shoulder. Willis called to him to wait and they would walk together, but he never turned his head nor paid any attention whatsoever. He walked straight on until he came to the cemetery. There he turned, went directly to the new grave and vanished. Willis was certain it was Amandon. As time went on others saw the same apparition with boots over its shoulder. It always acted in the same manner. Why did Amandon haunt his grave instead of his home? Why did he carry his boots instead of wearing them? Was it because he had often done that very thing in the Civil War to preserve his precious boots? Amandan walks no more, but he is not forgotten. Each year a new flag flies over his grave.
Clara Stillwell a friend of Amy Baker, Cleo Legacy, sisters. Taucher girls.
Copied by Alvin Baker from original.

Great to see this picture!
- Berwyn and Merl Baker are children of Clayton and Bertha Baker.
- Howard and Ronald baker are children of Fred and Hattie Baker.
- Fred and Clayton are sons of Moses Edward Baker.
- Berwyn and Merl, Howard and Ronald are cousins, and are 3rd cousins twice removed of mine.
I'm trying to connect Ruth Baker Palmetier to my Bakers, not so far.
Merl Baker compiled "The Descendants of William Baker", self-published 1985. The Potter County Historical Society has a hard copy. I have .pdf file of the book. Message me your email and I can send it to you.
