A very pretty wedding was solemnized at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence H. Neefe, at eight o'clock, Saturday evening, when their daughter, Miss Marian Emily, became the bride of Everett Russell Blass of this place.
The bride is a graduate of Coudersport high school. Since her graduation she has been employed at the Cummings Millinery Store. The bridegroom, son of Joseph Blass, is also a Coudersport high school. graduate. During the World War, he served over seas. Since that time he has devoted his time to successful farming.
The bride was charmingly attired in a gown of rose georgette crepe and carried a shower bouquet of bride's roses. She was attended by her sister, Miss Florence Neefe, who wore a gown green georgette crepe and carried a beautiful bouquet of rose buds. The bridegroom was attended by Waldo Blass.
The ceremony was performed by Rev. Arthur Gregson of the Park M.E. church.
Following the ceremony, refreshments were served, after which the happy couple left by motor for Niagara Falls and Buffalo. From there they will go by boat to Detroit.
The out of town guests were: Miss Alice Blass of Verona, N. J., Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Blass a and sons Waldo and Lloyd and daughter Mildred of Germania, Mr. and Mrs. John Blass and daughter, Charlotte of Gaines, Mrs. B. C. Gallup of Port Allegany, Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Stearns of Bolivar, Joseph Shedd of East Aurora, N.Y., Miss Georgianna Grover of Ulysses, Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Lyons of Sweden and Foster Miller of Roulette.
The bride received many beautiful and useful presents..
