Life Long Resident f Roulette Died Suddenly Last Week at Friendship

Roscoe Lyman, a life long resident of Roulette, died suddenly at the home of his son Morris at Friendship NY Wednesday, April 6, 1927. Mr. Lyman had been in ill health for some time but while visiting his son seemed apparently to be improving.
Mr Lyman was born in 1866 at Roulette and was married Oct. 23, 1893 to Nettie Kimm, who preceded him in death Sept. 8th, 1926. He is survived by one son and two daughters, Morris Lyman of Friendship, NY, Mrs. Ed. Fitzsimmons of Roulette and Mrs. Maurice Goodrich of Bradford. He is also survived by two brothers and two sisters, Jake Lyman of Coudersport, Hudson Lyman and mrs. Bert Helmer of Port Allegany and Mrs. Dora Archibald of Portville, NY. The late Mrs John Goding of Port Allegany was also a sister of the deceased.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock at the Baptist church and interment was made in the Lyman Cemetery.
