Bride
Mrs. Andrew J. Lacher
Miss Karen Marie Altman and Andrew J. Lacher were united in marriage Saturday at St. Catharine's Church, Columbus, Ohio.
The Msgrs. Walter J. Rees and John P. Kleinz celebrated the double-ring nuptial mass for the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Norman E. Altman of Columbus the son of Mrs. E. J. Lacher of Roulette and the late Mr. Lacher.
Mrs. Walter V. Johanni was matron of honor for her sister. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Edward Chinnock, Miss Mary Margaret Altman and Miss Janette Altman, all sisters of the bride.
Best man was Edmund Lacher of Roulette, brother of the groom. Ushers included Dr. James Jonak of Buffalo, Dr. Charles Suchma of Cleveland, and Stuart Schwotzer of Columbus.
A reception and luncheon in Columbus Country Club honored the newlyweds.
The bride attended the College of St. Mary in Notre Dame, Ind., and was graduated from Holy Cross School of Nursing in South Bend, Ind. She is presently employed with Mount Carmel Hospital in Columbus.
The groom is an alumnus of St. Bonaventure University and received his Ph. D. from State University at Buffalo. He is an associate editor at Chemical Abstracts Service. After a wedding trip to Huntsville, Ontario, the couple will make their home in Columbus.
Nuptials
Miss Ruth Ellen Moore became the bride of John Alex Sallade in a double-ring ceremony June 27 at Calvary Baptist Church, Coudersport.
The Rev. David Minor performed the double-ring ceremony for the daughter of Mrs. Florence Moore of Oyster Bay, L. I. and the son of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Sallade Sr. of Coudersport.
Given in marriage by her brother, Ellsworth G. Moore, the bride chose a gown of lace and taffeta styled with a Nehru neckline and long sleeves. She carried a bouquet of orchids and roses.
Mrs. Sharon Bez of Coudersport was matron of honor for hr aunt.

Bridesmaids were Miss Karen Minor, niece of the bride, and Mrs. Gayle Ayers?, both of Coudersport. Each wore an empire gown of organic bordered with swiss lace.
Best man was the Rev. Edward Bez of Coudersport. Ushers included Tim Knapp of Bethlehem, Ronald Linden of James, L. I. , Joe Ayers and David Minor, Jr., both of Coudersport.
A reception for 100 guests at Sweden Valley Grange preceded a wedding trip to Niagara Falls.
The bride is employed as a nurse's aide in Cole Memorial Hospital. Her husband is a flight instructor at Cherry Springs Airport.
The couple will make their home on Dwight Street, in Coudersport.
