Found this old list of Damascus Tanning employees dated May 11, 1960. There were 4 of the Pesock brothers, including my dad, working there at the same time. Also my mom's brother, William Bobinko. Love this!!!

My husband's father also worked there for many years until he had a stroke in 1955. Dave says he also remembers his father, William Durst talking about Frank Pekarski, Brant;s father. I didn't see either of their names. Maybe because they no longer worked there in 1960. Dave's Dad passed away in April 1959.

EDWARD KELLNER, Jr has returned from Cresson Sanitarium where he has been receiving treatmet for some time. Edward is a former employee of Damascus and worked with the boys in the scrub house.
WE SALUTE ANTHONY PEKARSKI... in his retirement.
Tony came to Coudersport from Costello, Pa, with experience in the tanning business at what was then the largest sole leather tannery in the world.
Tony worked on the "beam" since 1908 and tha's quite a period of time....
Tony's sons, Edward and Walter, are presently employed at the tannery.
