VIRGINIA ELIZABETH WEBER BOSEK OBITUARY
Virgina E. Bosek, 93, of Galeton, PA, passed away on Tuesday, August, 27, 2013 at Cole Memorial Hospital, Coudersport, PA.
Born December 11, 1919 in Galeton, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Mary (Mosch) Weber.
On August 15, 1941 in Galeton, she married Ralph E. Bosek, who preceded her in death on June 25, 2006.
Virginia worked in a Beauty Shop in Galeton for a few years during the 1940's, at Martin's General Store in the late 1970's and early 1980's, and was a devoted wife and mother.
Surviving are two sons,
- Frank (Lori) Bosek, Galeton and
- Kevin (Karen) Bosek, Wilkes Barre, PA;
two daughters,
- Carole Gath, Penn Yan, NY and
- Janet (Jeffrey) Fox, Coudersport;
nine grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a sister Beverly Swartz.
Friends may call at the Hess Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Galeton, on Monday, September 2, 2013 from 10:00am to 12:00pm with Funeral Services following at 12:00pm. The Rev. Joseph Dougherty will officiate.
Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Galeton Public Library or to the Gale Hose Ambulance Association.
Virginia was the daughter of Mary Caroline Mosch and Robert Washington Weber,
granddaughter of Karl Earnest Mosch and Anna Martha Susan Fowler,
great granddaughter of Karl Herman Mosch and Caroline Scheider.

Margaret Satterwhite Brown I met a Weber in California whose family was from Potter County. The reason it cane up is that they had made a trip into Bradford when they had visited. I never had met a Weber in Potter County.
