Some of them are buried in Main Settlement cemetery. I also have ancestors buried there. I'm trying to confirm what the connection may be.

Chris Crowley Bailey My maiden name is Maxson, there are 50+ buried there, also in Wells Cemetery. Most came to that area around 1832. Who are you trying to connect?

Grace Titus yes I did. Thank you. I just don't have much history on George A. Prior to that. Also, I'm just not sure of the connection for George A and 2 of his sons to be in the Main settlement cemetery. I was first told that they were all related. Then that they were in the same church. Do you know?

No, it relates to George A. himself. I don't have much history on George A. Prior to his first marriage. Also, I'm just not sure of the connection for George A and 2 of his sons to be in the Main settlement cemetery. I was first told that everyone in the cemetery were all related. Then i was told that they were in the same church. Do you know?

I guess I'm confused too. As far as I know, George A. Geary, born 1866 died 1949 is buried in Main Settlement Cemetery, Portville NY. His mother was Adeline Smith 1848-1880.

I confess, the Geary name is dear to me, a favorite brother-in-law is a lawyer (corp law) his 1st case was to sue Gulf Oil for a great couple named Geary (and he won that case). In 85 when we moved to SC they became dear friend of ours until their death. They were from Pa, Don and Ginny Geary <3

Grace Titus, I'm curious...is there a connection with this Crandall family to what we refer to as Crandall hill? If you're not sure where I mean (you probably are...:)..) Crandall hill is where the Kenyon farm in Coudersport is. Hebron township.

All of my Crandalls that I am aware of have deep roots in Main Settlement and Genesee......but there could be others. Am researching some Kenyons right now....esp family of Rev George Potter Kenyon and his wife Mary Milvina Burdick Kenyon. Would appreciate what you know of the Kenyon Farm and Crandall Hill....Kenyons were SDB also.

The Kenyon farm is just up the road from the Hebron SDB church. The farm is located next to the Woodland Cemetery.

Grace Titus we three went to Elementary school in Coneville with Kenny, & his sister Evelyn Kenyon in the 40s/early 50s. They lived in Crandall Hill, & their home was on top of the Crandall Hill Rd. I can picture their Mother, but her name won't come to me. I remember she was a very pretty lady.

Grace Titus Evelyn, & Kenny Kenyon's Mother's name was "Rachel." Evelyn was a year younger than me, & Kenny was a yr. older than me. Kenny wore very thick glasses, & later in life, I am not sure how old he was, he committed suicide. I was still on the farm in Coneville. It is said that he was going blind is the reason for his suicide. It was so sad! My friend who I connected with via FB was from Crandall Hill. I'm sure she can tell you much more. I will look at her married name, & let you know. I know Tina Daughenbaugh knows her/of her.

This is Alta Crandall Ryan who was from Hebron, daughter of W L Crandall and Alta Crandall. She was born in 1885 and apparently a good friend of my grandmother, Grace Clark Kenealy. There are several other pictures in my grandmother's things. She is buried in Portville. All of the Early Clarks lived on Crandall hill in Hebron also.

They are buried at Woodlawn in Hebron/ Crandall Hill. Outside Coudersport. I don’t think they were 7 day baptist.
