I don’t think I have any direct Wetzels but it’s come up several times while adding Pyles which is a big wall for my grandmother’s birth family. I’m hoping that if I can better connect Pyles, the tree will make more sense. Sorry for not getting back to you sooner, I meant to. Immediate reaction was Yes, but I didn't know how. Answer is still YES. Elizabeth Sine, 18 Apr 1823/24-17 Apr 1898, my 1st cousin 4x removed, daughter of Jacob Christy Sine & Rebecca Piles/Pylse, married Joseph H. Piles/Pyles, 19 Jan 1819-08 May 1880. He is son of John Piles/Pyles and Elizabeth Haught. I haven't yet connected Rebecca Piles/Pyles and her father-in-law, John Piles/Pyles, but I assume they are related. I will take a look at this, but I wanted to get a response to you. Does this help?
