	Margaret "Peggy" Archer (Sine) Moore Birth: Dec. 23, 1823 Monongalia County, West Virginia, USA Death: unknown Franklin, Marshall County West Virginia, USA Daughter of Stephen Archer and Martha Sine: Stephen Archer Will of 1824 states: I leave to my wife Martha and her infant daughter Peggy, next line I leave to my wife and our daughter. Remembrance Swan Moore's death record state his mother was Margaret ARCHEY, Elizabeth Moore Smith's states her mother was Margaret Archie, Ephriam's says his mother was Peggy. Other children died in Ohio, or PA, those death records not yet located. Margaret grew up in the Sine household of her Grandfather William and Margaret Christy Sine in 1840's and thus used the name SINE when she married, being just an infant when her father died. Margaret named two of her sons Alpheus and Milton probably after her brothers. (Research Papers of Dorothy Hennen Cornerstone Genealogy Society, Waynesburg, PA) Jacob and Anna Moore took in two children when their son Michael's wife Elizabeth Shanes/Shinn died in 1841. The girl was named Mary and was about 9 years old and the boy was Noah and his age was about 4. They both were listed in the 1850 census as being with Jacob and his wife. Mary was listed as being 17 and Noah as 12. Michael married Margaret Sine who was about 17 years of age on June 12, 1842 in Greene County, Pa and Michael's oldest child at the time was a daughter by the name of Margaret, she was age 16. A son Nimrod age 12, Mary age 9, Francis age 7, Noah 4, Catherine 3. It is not known weather the separation of the children took place at Michael's wife's death or some date before his marriage to the 17 year old Margaret Sine Elizabeth Shanes was Michael's first wife and she died in 1840 or 1841 which date is unknown for sure. They had 7 children and after Elizabeth died Michael remarried to Margaret Sine she was about 17 at the time and being that Michael was left with the 7 children and the oldest was 16 and the youngest being less than one year old. The seven children were sent to live with relatives of Michael. It is believed that Elizabeth died from complications after the birth of Cristena. Michael was a widowed about a year when he married Margaret Sine. It is believed that Margaret refused to care for these children as she was about the same age as Michael's oldest daughter and the youngest son less than one year old.
