Suhr (survives) left this earth on Thursday, December 29, 2022. Sue, a '74 Mansfield University graduate, committed 35 years of service to Coudersport Area School District as a teacher. She was also a very active member of the Coudersport Legion. Approximately 10 years ago she moved to Lock Haven to be closer to loved ones. She was an avid game player, so she frequently hosted Friday game nights with "her kids". Sue was always the best Auntie to Abby Batterson of Lock Haven, Katie (Tim) Hanna of Lock Haven, Karl (Hannah) Welfling of Fredrick, Md., Jon Welfling of Wellsboro and Hannah (Kaelen) O'Connor of Pittsburgh. She was also a loving stepmother to three sons, Robbie (Cindy) Suhr of Wisconsin, Danny Suhr and Nathan (Sue) Suhr of Colorado. Sue had an extra special bond to Logan, Eleanor and Sadie Hanna. She attended hundreds of events from Christmas Concerts and art shows to soccer, football and basketball games. She always put family first. Sue will be sorely missed. She was preceded in death by her father, Stanley and her brother, Ed Welfling. Her mother, Ruby and sisters, Joan and Beth Welfling survive.
