S. Erway and son, Burdette, Mrs. Mary Welfling and Mr. & Mrs. Norman Goodenough motored from here to Ulysses, Sunday, to attend the funeral services of Andrew J. Erway, which were held from the home at 1:30 o'clock, the Rev. N. Johnstone, pastor of the Ulysses Baptist Church, officiating. - Interment was made in the Whites Corners cemetery. Mr. Erway passed away last Thursday. He was a son of the late George K. Erway and wife and was born at Harrison Valley, February 16, 1847. He had been a resident of Ulysses for the past 25 years. Surviving are - his widow, Mrs. Mary Drake Erway, and the following children: - Lewis Erway and - Mrs. Mary Welfling, Coudersport; - William Erway, Olean; also seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. ATTEND FATHER'S FUNERAL
Mr. & Mrs. L. S. Erway and son, Burdette,
Mrs. Mary Welfling and
Mr. & Mrs. Norman Goodenough
motored from here to Ulysses, Sunday, to attend the funeral services of Andrew J. Erway, which were held from the home at 1:30 o'clock, the Rev. N. Johnstone, pastor of the Ulysses Baptist Church, officiating.
- Interment was made in the Whites Corners cemetery.
Mr. Erway passed away last Thursday. He was a son of the late George K. Erway and wife and was born at Harrison Valley, February 16, 1847. He had been a resident of Ulysses for the past 25 years. Surviving are
- his widow, Mrs. Mary Drake Erway, and the following children:
- Lewis Erway and
- Mrs. Mary Welfling, Coudersport;
- William Erway, Olean;
also seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
