I have 2 ancestors mine and my husbands family. both adopted and zero records when requested. Also orphan court PA being so close to NY line you'd have to check both states and know origin birth city to search that specific court house. It's a whole project finding older adoption records. Mike Wennin orphans court records past 1950 are almost impossible to find. I have 2 ancestors mine and my husbands family. both adopted and zero records when requested. Also orphan court PA being so close to NY line you'd have to check both states and know origin birth city to search that specific court house. It's a whole project finding older adoption records.
