Popular Young Man Takes Philadelphia Young Lady as His Bride.
The marriage of Miss Margaret Felton McCann and Lyman Manning Burt took place Friday afternoon at 4:00 o'clock in the parsonage of St. James Methodist Church in Philadelphia.
White flowers and white candles on the mantle over a fireplace formed the background for the bridal party. The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, Charles B. McCann of Philadelphia, wore a gown of pale blue chiffon. Her sister, Miss Dorothy McCann, who was her only attendant, wore pale pink chiffon. Both carried old-fashioned bouquets.
Mr. Burt was attended by Mor ton Lilly, Jr., of Coudersport.
After the ceremony photographs of the bridal party were taken and an informal reception held which was followed by a dinner at Cecile's.
Mr. and Mrs. Burt left that evening for a short motor trip through Northern Maryland and reached Coudersport Sunday evening. They are at home in an apartment owned by Mrs. P. S. Patterson.
