Which of the brothers was your father? I am distantly related to Anna Neefe Gillon through SNYDER, HOUSEKNECHT, Furman, Neefe... On a different note, my daughter married a Kiely, originally from NJ but now in Richmond, VA. I'd like to find out if there is a connection there as well.

I'd shared this in an earlier post by Lanny Nunn 19 January 2019. The quality of this pic is significantly better than the earlier post (Thank you, Lanny):

Mothers. 7 mums, 6 toddlers, that I can make out. The mothers were all born in the early 1870's and most, if not all, were teachers.
- Anna Louise Neefe Gillon (childless at this point, I think) and
- Bertha Neefe Schutt were sisters, daughters of Daniel and Caroline Blackman Neefe, Bertha's son Howard? b. May 1894 (in lower rt corner?);
- Jessie Stebbins- haven't figured her out yet;

Here is another photo of 3-4 of them, posted in July last year by Lanny Nunn. I haven't yet figured out who the missing identification is, but it is not Jessie Dingman McCollough, who was born 02 May 1887, about 15 years after the others: also ca 1900, I think.

Lanny Nunn posted this one last March. I thought I'd addend it here, as well, since it includes many of the same mothers.
- Mary Louise Berfield Larraby would lose baby Carlos 15 Feb 1895, barely 1.5 yrs old, so this photo was probably taken in the fall of 1894.
- James Lorraine French, son of Frank A. & Lillian Covey French, born 24 June 1894, would also not reach two, as he died a little later, 19 Mar 1896; his grandfather was Dr. Amos French.
You see many of the ladies here:
- Mrs. W.F. Schutt & son, Howard, born May 8, 1894;
- Mrs. Morris & daus. Marie & Esther Morris;
- Mrs. Wentworth & son, Milton Schutt Wentworth;
- Mrs. Hogarth & son, Donald John Hogarth, born Sept. 8, 1893;
- Mrs. Stocking & son, Walter Henry Stocking;
- Mrs. Milton Potter & dau. Margaret Potter, born June 10, 1894;
back row:
- Mrs. Willard & Rees Willingdorf & Alice Eva Willard;
- Mrs. Lou Larrabee & son, Carlos Benjamin Larrabee, born July 8, 1893;
- Mrs. French & son, James L. French.
