The deceased was a veteran of the Civil War, and owned a farm on Crandall Hill. He is survived by a wife, 3 daughters & 5 sons. Schutt & Gillon were called to care for the funeral arrangements. The funeral will be held on Friday, burial in the Hebron cemetery.   Yes, I know what you mean. I have stuck trying to find the parents of my 3rd great grandfather, Solomon Snyder. A woman on Ancestry.com told me she believed his parents were Herman Snyder and Magdalena Graybill (Krehbiel). Out of curiosity I explored that lineage, which continued several generations back to Switzerland. Later I compared family trees with my Ancestry.com DNA cousins and found a woman whose only common ancestor with me was an ancestor of Magdalena Graybill. So that tells me, at least, that Magdalena Graybill was my 4th great grandmother and if I'm to believe her only husband was Herman Snyder than I think I've solved that mystery. _______________________ Larry Herbstritt 39 mins FB Herbstritt-Snyder-et al.
