I found this newspaper article in the Potter County Historical Society. Ellery Dunn was the son of Stanton Dunn & Delphine Parker Dunn, and the grandson of Michael & Sarah Ellison Dunn. Also mentioned in this article was Lawrence Snyder (my grandfather) and Albert Davey (my great grandfather). The story was also published in the Leader Dispatch newspaper. I also read that Henry Cornelius was also jailed, I think a year later, for killing a man he claimed was a chicken thief. He did not spend much time in jail however. The biggest clue was in the article you just shared Larry Herbstritt. It mentioned that he had gone back to Marchie Cornelius residence. So after searching Ancestry I was able to determine that Marchie was his sister.
