D, resident, was killed Saturday evening when struck by a vehicle driven by Hurley W. Yocum, Salladasburg, R. D. 1, who told police that lights from two approaching vehicles blinded him as he was driving one mile west of Hughesville. No inquest will be held in the accident, which was caused by Houseknecht walking on the same side of the road as the Yocum car was traveling, according to Dr. Clarence R. Martin, Lycoming county coroner. Funeral services for Houseknecht, a Williamsport contractor employe, will be conducted at two o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the funeral home at 209 South Main street, Hughesville.
