  	20180529 Chicago- Friday, January 18, 2013 Stephen E. “Steve” Dynda, 73, of Maple Lane, Coudersport, PA Stephen E. “Steve” Dynda, 73, of Maple Lane, Coudersport, PA, passed away Thursday (Jan. 17, 2013) in Sweden Valley Manor, Coudersport. Born June 9, 1939, in Coudersport, he was a son of Joseph and Elsie Austin Dynda. On December 22, 1990, Coudersport, he married Claudia L. Peno, who survives. Mr. Dynda was employed with National Fuel Gas Co. for several years, before his retirement. He was a veteran having served with the US Marine Corp. He was a graduate of the Scotland School for Veteran Children, Chambersburg, PA. He was a lifetime resident of the area and a member of the Coudersport American Legion. He was an avid outdoorsman, who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and digging leeks. Surviving in addition his wife, Claudia, are a son, Jeff Dynda of Martinsburg, WV; three daughters, - Nancy J. (Herb) Gular of Roulette, - Lori S. (Greg) Andruchowsky of Ulysses, PA, - Jenna L. (Brian) Switzer of Erie, PA; a stepson, Jerrod J. Renko of Shinglehouse; 10 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren; a sister, Kathryn (Joseph) Boyd of Coudersport; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Glenda Dynda, two grandsons and a granddaughter. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday (Jan. 21, 2013) in the Austin United Methodist Church, with Rev. Steven Small, pastor, and Kathryn Boyd co-officiating. Burial will be in Gilmore Cemetery, Sinnemahoning, PA. A military service will be conducted by the Potter County Honor Guard immediately following the funeral, at the church. Memorials can be made to Volunteers That Care, P.O. Box 750, Coudersport, PA 16915, or Activities Fund at Sweden Valley Manor, Coudersport.   	20180529 Chicago- Thursday, March 28, 2013 COUDERSPORT AREA LIONS CLUB HOLDS MYSTERY DINNER THEATER On Saturday March 23rd the Coudersport Area Lions Club held their third Mystery Dinner Theater over dinner at the Coudersport Fire Hall Annex with over 125 attending. The St. Mary?s group led by Lisa Lepovetsky performed “Murder on the High Seas” and set the scene for a cruise liner mystery. The group was introduced by Lion, Linda Karija. Guests pored over clues trying to solve the mystery of who killed Hilda Winnbagg. The evening combined the skit and entrees as the guests worked on this latest “Who Dunnit?” Dinner was catered by Claudia Dynda who prepared a wonderful meal of beef brisket, pork loin, stuffing, red potatoes and steamed vegetables with her helpers, including her son Jared Peno. Lions member Keturah Cappadonia headed up the bussing crew as Lions members pitched in between courses to clear the tables. Keturah had an extra hand from BreAnne Dubots who volunteered her time to help bus the tables. The Lions Club viewed their evening a success and took a show of hands to see if the crowd would like to see the event held again. The response was yes, and same time next year, so plans for next year?s mystery will be in the making. The Lions would like to thank the community for its support in this event and looks forward to serving local organizations and individuals.
