Louise Peno, age 85, formerly of Austin, Pa passed away September 4, 2009 in Richmond Hill, GA.
Born on August 13, 1924 in Austin, PA the daughter of Frederick Keck and Mabel Haskins.
She recently relocated to Richmond Hill, Ga.
She is survived by 2 children,
- Linda Guzzie of Monroe, GA and
- Robert Peno of Richmond Hill, Ga.
She also leaves behind 6 devoted grandchildren, 9 loving great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by husband Robert and daughter Bonnie.
Louise was employed at First National Bank as a teller for over 19 years, retiring in 1986.
She also had over 20 years of dedicated volunteer service at Charles Cole Memorial Hospital.
She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star for 50 years.
A Memorial Service to celebrate her life will be held Saturday, September 12, 2009 at 1:00pm with visitation from 11:00am to 1:00pm at the United Methodist Church in Austin, Pa, where Louise was a member for 64 years.
Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to the United Methodist Church in Austin, Post Office Box 8, Austin, PA 16720. Arrangements are under the direction of the Fickinger Funeral Home of Coudersport.

Louise taught me in sunday school many years ago. She was one of the nicest people I have ever known. She will be missed by many.

Robert Peno, 62, formerly of Austin, died on Saturday, Sept. 4, 2012, in Richmond Hill, Ga. He was born on Jan. 12, 1950, in Austin, son of Robert Peno and Louise Keck.
Robert graduated from Mansfield University with a teaching degree and entered the Marine Corps in 1974. He served for 10 years and was honorably discharged with the National Defense Service Medal and the Navy Commendation Medal.
After his military service Robert worked in New York at Aeroflex Systems Inc. and Ease Systems Inc. He moved to Washington, D.C. to work at RJO Enterprises for four years. He then moved to New Jersey and worked at Venntronix Corporation and Telcordia Communications.
He is survived by his longtime partner, Luane Vizi;
his sister, Linda Guzzie;
and four children,
- LeeAnn Norris,
- Tracey Figurelli,
- Danielle Wadsworth and
- Mandi Lewis;
seven grandchildren; one nephew; and one niece.
A Memorial Service to celebrate his life was held on Friday, Sept. 8, 2012, at 9 a.m., at the Richmond Hill Funeral Home.
- Burial will be at the Beaufort National Cemetery in Beaufort, S.C. with military honors at noon on Friday.
