Louise Peno, age 85, formerly of Austin, Pa
Louise Peno, age 85, formerly of Austin, Pa passed away September 4, 2009 in Richmond Hill, GA.
Born on August 13, 1924 in Austin, PA the daughter of Frederick Keck and Mabel Haskins.
She recently relocated to Richmond Hill, Ga.
She is survived by 2 children,
- Linda Guzzie of Monroe, GA and
- Robert Peno of Richmond Hill, Ga.
She also leaves behind 6 devoted grandchildren, 9 loving great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by husband Robert and daughter Bonnie.
Louise was employed at First National Bank as a teller for over 19 years, retiring in 1986.
She also had over 20 years of dedicated volunteer service at Charles Cole Memorial Hospital.
She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star for 50 years.
A Memorial Service to celebrate her life will be held Saturday, September 12, 2009 at 1:00pm with visitation from 11:00am to 1:00pm at the United Methodist Church in Austin, Pa, where Louise was a member for 64 years.
Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to the United Methodist Church in Austin, Post Office Box 8, Austin, PA 16720. Arrangements are under the direction of the Fickinger Funeral Home of Coudersport.

Louise taught me in sunday school many years ago. She was one of the nicest people I have ever known. She will be missed by many.

Rev. Warren Baughman and his son, Ronald, of Berwick, Pa, were the guests of his brother, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Baughman, and family on Sunday. Rev. Baughman was guest speaker in the Austin Methodist church on Sunday.
The Austin WSCS will hold its regular meeting on June 29 at the home of Mrs. Robert Peno at 8:00 o'clock. The meeting was set for June 22 has been postponed.
Spending the week with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Fox, of Odin were Dottey, Ray, Cheryl and Danny Toombs of Tionesta, Pa.
