  	William H Hydorn Birth: Apr. 17, 1808 Brunswick, Rensselaer County, New York, USA Death: Dec. 4, 1897 Potter County, Pennsylvania, USA According to Baptism record, son of Henrich Heidorn and Elizabeth(Clint). Probable Brother of Adam and others. Husband of Eleanor Burdick. 6 children, of his sons> One died as a baby and was one of the first burials here, One was killed in Action at Chancellorville Va. and the third was sent home with dysentery but died with two months of making it home. Of the 3 daughters one became a missionary to the Indian tribes of the West but contracted small pox or the Measels and died at a home in IL. The second contracted TB and died at the age of 40. The third lived to be close to 90. All the children are buried here or remembered but the oldest daughter and she has been added here as its not clear where she die or exactly when but the general year and may of also been married; Her parents were not sure.. His Sister also said he fell off the wagon coming to Potter County but not sure if that info is accurate or not. HYDORN. ,,, He married Eleanor Burdick at Grafton, NY, in 1832 and six children were born to them, of which but one, Louisa, is living, Mrs. Sylvester Greenman, now a widow in Boulder, Colorado. Cordelia the eldest of the children, one of the most capable of teachers for many years, died in Illinois in 1871. June Green died in 1877. Her daughter Grace has kept the cosy (sic) home in coudersport where her grandfather spent his last days, giving him the kindest care. Charles the eldest son was killed at Chancellorsville, in 1863. Sullivan the youngest died at the age of 22 and he and Mrs. Green are buried beside their father and mother. ,,,
