No 'Helen' identified in here, but there is an 'Ellen Wood'. I wonder if she is 'Helen'. Jessie did name one of her daughters 'Helen'.

Very possible. Hard to identify even a few years later positively. They do misspell and goof up names for sure????

Thx for these pics on the graduating class of 1907, Lanny Nunn. ONE male student!? James Godfrey. Can't quite wrap my mind around that. It wasn't a war year... farmers leaving early? The photos correspond with a pic of the class that Joel Frampton Gilfert posted in May last year in the Potter/McKean Group:

This is such a neat photo & I wish I could claim some of these folks, but I can't. However this is a good reference for clothing styles in 1907. It might help me date a few photos of my own. ????

One guy, 18 girls? The boys may have been in the fields, I suppose, but… one guy?!
This wasn’t even the war years.

I had Mrs. Dewey in 4th grade (20 boys, no girls) and Mrs. Olin (Josephine Maroney) for English in HS, learned a lot from both of them.

These teachers seem to have had a good time together. There are several pics of them 'carousing' with each other 'after hours'.
