Mrs. Edith Johnson and daughters, Mary and Helen of Tully, N. Y., called at G. A. Crooks, Saturday evening, and with their daughter, Mrs. Lynn Holly and her husband of Shinglehouse, spent Sunday afternoon visiting Mr. and Mrs. Orrin Evans and Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Holcomb.
The Alliance gave a weiner roast and dance at the hall, Saturday night. There was a very good assembly of the members and several visitors from around home and also from Andrews Settlement.
Mr. and Mrs. Wolcott and sons from Owego visited Mrs. Bertha Terette over the week-end.
Joe Sweezy of Coudersport spent last week at L. V. Bridges Sunday evening. Mr. Bridge and family took him home and brought his brother back with them.
Mr. and Mrs. Gavisk and Mr. and Mrs. Davis and children of Hornell, Mr. and Mrs. Lucian Lewis and children, Mr. and Mrs. Robert McElroy and children and Walter Holly of Myrtle and Mr. and Mrs. John Lewis and son Gerald ate a picnic dinner up in Doyle Hollow, Sunday afternoon.

Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Ford drove to Bradford, Saturday, after Mrs. Ford's sister, Mrs. Jessie Kurtz, and Sunday they all attended the Sherwood reunion at Raymond Ford's in Clara.
Mr. and Mrs. Harry De Remer and little daughter attended the De Remer reunion at the home of his father at Little Genesee. N. Y.. Sunday.
A little daughter, Iris Evelyn, was born to Mr. and Mrs. Roy Gooch on Thursday.

Mr. and Mrs. C. L. Stearns visited their son, Lyle and wife at Bolivar, Sunday. They entertained at a birthday dinner in honor of his mother and her mother, Mrs. Reynolds, of Andrews Settlement.
Mrs. Ella Stearns and Miss Genevieve are spending a few days with her sister, Mrs. J. H. Miller at Coudersport.
Mrs. Edith Carley and son Ronald of Ulysses are spending a few days with her brother, Arthur Mattison and family.

Mrs. Dellah Chaffee visited at North Eulalia and Colesburg from Friday until Sunday evening. Also attended a reunion at Fred Peet's.
Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Atkinson were Coudersport visitors. Mrs. Atkinson is having dental work, done.

Jim Heath Won Men's Biscuit Baking Contest at Sweden Valley Recently. Other Notes.
West Hebron, Feb. 20 There was a goodly representation of Hebron Grange at the meeting of Potter County Pomona Grange held at the Sweden Valley Grange hall, February 16 and 17. The Hebron Grange orchestra furnished music for the Thursday evening session. Jim Heath, a member of Hebron Grange won the men's biscuit baking contest receiving as a prize, a sack of flour for himself and also a check of $5 for Hebron Grange, which they presented to the orchestra.
The Hebron Ladies' Aid held their regular meeting February 15. There was a good attendance and work was tying quilt.
Mr. and Mrs. L. Pepperman and children were Sunday guests of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Pepperman of Coneville.
Mr. and Mrs. Don Steams and children Marilee and Dick were dinner guests of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Harris of Coneville.
Mr. and Mrs. Joe Tassllo of Coudersport, spent Sunday with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Matteson.
Mr. and Mrs. Don Stearns and family, Mrs. Ella Stearns attended the high school orchestra concert at Coudersport Thursday evening.
Mr. and Mrs. Willis Brock of Roulette, spent Saturday afternoon with their son Fordyce and wife.
Mr. and Mrs. Don Stearns and family and Mrs. Ella Stearns motored to Emporium Sunday afternoon to help Mrs. Eddie Olson celebrate her birthday.
