Nehemiah and Olive are buried in the John Lyman Cemetery in Roulette, Potter County, PA as well as are John C. French and his oldest daughter, Helen Margaret French. Nehemiah and Olive's son John C. French was my great grandfather. John C. French was a noted author and contributor/collaborator regarding Pennsylvania wildlife and folklore/music. I have transcribed John's book, "The Passenger Pigeon in Pennsylvania" in its entirety to Joyce Tice's Tri-Counties History and Genealogy Site. French was my grandfather. Robert m. Florence Emma Boucher. Their only child was my mother, Dorothy French. Nehemiah's parents were William French and (H)Esther (Martin), d/o John Gideon Martin and Tammer Houlette (sp). William and Esther are buried in the French Hill Cemetery in Middlebury, Tioga County, PA as are other French/Shaff/Martin family members. Nehemiah's grandparents were Jeremiah French and Margariet/Margarete Van Gorder. Jeremiah is my brickwall.
