Dale: I also found this old photo from Coudersport. There is no date on it. My Aunt Kay English is in the front row, 3rd from the right. Apparently this function involved hats....and possibly wine. - with Tricia Kowalski, Lena Howland, Mary Hanley and 19 others.

Hi old friend, Brenda Kenealy Williams. I thought that was Tillie and Ginny but wasn't sure. Not many others look familiar, though. The woman in the 1st row left looks familiar but I can't place her. I wonder where my mom and her other sisters are?

I think perhaps it could be the Office Girls. I tagged Essie Eimer (back row, second from right) who was the Potter Enterprise Office Girl. I think it's Barbara Wallace fourth from the right in the back row with Gertrude Guenther third from the right. It's not the Presby Church but could be the Consistory?

My aunt was Catholic so it wasn't a Presbyterian group. Judging by the hats, I'm thinking they were members of The Riders of the Purple Sage.

I think that this might be the Lutheran church because the picture is Martin Luther. I ran across this picture while doing some volunteer work in high school. The pastor at the time, Pastor Danielson told me that the picture was removed from the Church because there was a rumor that the Lutherans had stopped worshiping God and had settled on Martin Luther.

Hello. Anne Ouellette Gerner, and I'm the current President of the Office Girls of Coudersport and have this picture in the scrapbook I've been working on for our club. The picture was taken at the Lutheran Church's Sunday school room. I've been told they all made their own hats. A few of these ladies are still in our club. I'm still looking for the date this picture was taken. I have several of the ladies identified and thanks to some of you, have a few more now. I'm still looking to find out who the 2nd lady in the 2nd row from left is and the 3rd from the right in the 2nd row. They are the 2 I'm missing. If anyone can tell me who they are, I'd really appreciate it. You can just fb me on my page. Thanks.

Judith Regg, see Scott Robbins, comment above. I think the location and identities are pretty well verified. Maybe if someone knows the date it would be nice. I have this entire post in a word file, including in the heading the picture and underneath it the identification. I would be glad to share with anyone.

Verna Raymond, Josephine Snyder, Myrtle Vosburg, Margaret BUchanan, Mary Kelly, ? then Helen Chamberlan

These photos can still be tagged, even with non-FB names (they just don't hyperlink). It took me a while to figure this out. I'm going to tag Miss Fredericks, since I think Thomas T Shirey is right and she's about the only one I recognize (my 3rd grade teacher too). If no tag shows, then... well, I couldn't do it.

woops! Now that I've blown it up, I[m not so sure about Miss Fredericks, especially since someone has already tagged her 'Beth Burt', which, together with a few other tags already there, answers the tagging question. Precious!
