| LifeSketch | There are some mistakes in Daniel Baker, So I'll Give his obituary: Roulette / Newspaper: A prayer service for Daniel Baker, age 72, of Buffalo, New York, a former Roulette resident, was held Wednesday at the John Lyman Cemetery here. A previous service was held at the home in Buffalo. The Rev. H. Henry Walker of the Roulette Methodist Church, officiated at the committal service. Mr. Baker was the eldest son of the late Mr. & Mrs. Baker of Roulette and spent his youth in Roulette and vicinity. After serving as a deputy sheriff of Potter County for several years, he left here about 30 years ago and went to Niagara Falls, where he served on the police force for several years. Later moving to Buffalo, Mr. Baker was employed by the du Pont firm. He retired two years ago due to ill health. Survivors include his wife and one son, Harold Baker of Niagara Falls, and a sister, Mrs Emma Jackson of New York City. Now there are census attached showing he was born in New York & they are the wrong person as you can see from the obituary, he never left that area until about 30 years ago. says the obituary. Now Harold Baker his son is right. The other thing is he did have another wife who out lived him, so the obituary states.
