• Wedding vows were exchanged Saturday, June 29, at 2:00 in the Augustus Lutheran Church of Trappe by Miss Charleen D. Van Pelt, Collegeville, and David L. Yeagle. The Rev. John A Conomy performed the double-ring ceremony for the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur VanPelt, Coudesport the son of Mrs. George Yeagle and the late Mr. Yeagle of Collegeville.
Mrs. Richard Estes, Oswayo, was matron of honor and bridesmaids were
Mrs. Paul Yeagle, Reading;
Miss Deborah VanPelt, Oswayo;
Miss Phylis Guest and Miss Jean Guest, Collegeville.
Flower girls were Kathleen Yeagle, Reading and Deanna VanPelt, Oswayo.
Ringbearers were William Morris Jr. and Stephen Morris.
Paul Yeagle, Reading, was best man and ushers were
George Yeagle, Collegeville;
Donald Yeagle, Norristown;
Rhee VanPelt, Oswayo, and
William Wiest, Trappe.
Following a wedding trip to Bermuda, the couple is living at Collegeville.
The bride received her bachelor of science degree in education from Mansfield State College and is presently an elementary, teacher. The bridegroom attended Temple University, Philadelphia Modeling School and spent two years in the service. He is employed as a sales representative for Beechnut Life Saver Company.

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Quimby of Kenmore spent the past weekend with her granddaughter, Kelly Haskins, the one-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Haskins of Coudersport.

Robert 0. Kio Dies;
Carbon Monoxide Is Cause Of Death
The body of Robert O. Kio of Keating Summit R.D. was found about 2:00 o'clock Sunday afternoon in his automobile on the Bark Shanty Rd. Giacomo D. Kimicata of Pittsburgh, who has a camp nearby, noted the car and investigated. He went to Al's Diner and telephoned to the coroner. The motor of the automobile was running when the discovery was made.
Deputy Coroner John Dec stated that a plastic hose had been attached to the car exhaust pipe. Despondency is believed to have caused Mr. Kio to act as he did. The coroner gave a verdict of suicide.
Deceased was born in Sweden Township April 16, 1907. He was a carpenter by trade and had lived for a time at Roulette.
He was a member of the Moose Lodge at Port Allegany and the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Jointers.
Surviving are three daughters,
Mrs. Barbara Klimek of Coudersport,
Mrs. Bonnie Stuart of Arlington, Va., and
Mrs. Phyllis Gleason of Austin R.D.;
two sons,
Robert O. Kio Jr., of Cleveland, Ohio, and
Douglas Kio of Truman;
nine grandchildren;
four brothers,
Guy Kio of Keating Summit,
Floyd Kio of Coudersport R.D.,
Roy Kio of Port Allegany and
Maney Kio of Roulette; and two sisters,
Mrs. Ollie White of Coudersport and
Mrs. Bertha Thompson of Roulette.
His wife is living but the couple was divorced.
Funeral service is being held from the Grabe Funeral Home in Coudersport at 2:00 o'clock this (Wednesday) afternoon. The Rev. Harold West, pastor of the Sweden Valley EUB Church, will officiate, with burial in Hollenbeck Cemetery at Sweden Valley.

Information Received Of Death Of Father
Harry A. Fowler, R.D. 4, Coudersport, has received information of the death of his father, J. Andrew Fowler, 83, at Waynesboro, Pa. The aged man had operated a woodworking shop and had been an instructor in that work for the Quincy EUB Home. Survivors include the son here, another son and two daughters.

Mr. and Mrs. Walter Lattin, Coudersport, their grandchildren, Janice and Ronnie Lattin, from Orlando, Fla., Larry Lattin, Hubbard, Ohio, attended the Marvin reunion at Warren Ohio. They, also spent a week at the home and Mrs. Robert Martin and son at Hubbard..

Mrs. Lorena Snyder Passes Away Suddenly at Port Allegany Last Wednesday. Funeral Saturday. West Hebron, Aug. 16.
This community was greatly shocked to hear of the sudden death of Mrs. Lorena Snyder, at the Port Allegany Hospital, last Wednesday. She leaves to mourn her death her husband, Charley Snyder, two little girls and step-daughter Mary; also infant daughter Charleen Doris and a host of relatives and friends. The body was taken to the home of Alva Thompson, where they also cared for the children. The funeral was held at two o'clock Saturday afternoon, at the Hebron Seventh Day Baptist church. Pastor Robert Wing officating. Interment was made in the Five Corner Cemtery.
Mr. and Mrs. Almerion Lyman and children, Lanson and Elwin Ingles, of Roulette, were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. John Howard and family. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Clark, of Los Angeles, were visiting his cousin, Arthur Mattison and family Tuesday.
Mrs. Maud Howard called on Mrs. Zeruah Stearns, Tuesday afternoon.
Mrs. Eva Swift and children and Mrs. Tillie Swift, of Coneville, called at Fred Snyders, Tuesday.
Milford Clark went to State College, last Wednesday, returning Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Merideth Reynolds and children, of Little Genesee and Fannie Burdick, of Filmore, called on Mr. and Mrs. Don Stearns and family and Mrs. Ella Stearns, Saturday afternoon.
Mr. and Mrs. George Dingman were Coudersport vsitors, Friday.
Monta Frilligan was a Millport visitor, Thursday evening.
Mr. and Mrs. L. Pepperman and children of Rue, spent the weekend with his parents, Mr & Mrs Tom Pepperman, of Coneville.
Mrs Josephine Snyder who has been ill with measles wasa out for an auto ride, Monday afternoon.
Mrs Bell Snyder and daughter, Dorothea Worden, of Belmont, NY and Earnie Snyder, of Wellsville, NY were dinner guests of Mr & Mrs Fred Snyder, Thursday.
Mr & Mrs Deo Burdick and son Gerald, and Jim Heath, of Sunnyside; Lena Thompson & Elno Burdick, were Sunday dinner guests of Mr & Mrs R. Burdick and family.
Mrs Ruth Brock & children & her mother, Mrs Mable Scott, were Bolivar, NY visitors, last Thursday.
Miss Phylis Clark spent a few days with her aunt, Mrs Harold Stearns and family, of Ellicotville, NY last week.
Herman Meacham, of Pot Allegany, is spending a few days with his cousin, Milford Clark.
