He has been with the 19th Bomb Squadron overseas for the past seventeen months. His brother, P.F.C. James E. Hamilton, is also stationed overseas. He was in the Hawaiian Islands at the time of the Jap attack there December 7, 1941.

Over Two Years in Pacific Area Gets Home
T. Sgt. Donald R. Hamilton, bombardier, serving in the Pacific area for the past 26 months, is spending a furlough at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Hamilton, of Shinglehouse.
Sergeant Hamilton has been awarded the Oak Leaf Cluster and the Distinguished Flying Cross. He brought home a Jap flag for a souvenir.

P.F.C. Gifford Kellogg, of Sunyside, near Shinglehouse, has been transferred from Atlanta, Ga. He states his new address is:

Friends in Sunnyside have recently received word that P.F.C. Gifford C. Kellogg is now stationed "somewhere in North Africa."
