Mr. and Mrs. Jearld Dunshie of Myrtle announce the engagement of their daughter, Debra Lu, to Dennis Lee Pierce, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Pierce, Millport.
The bride-elect is a 1974 graduate of Portville, N.Y. Central School. Her fiance is a 1967 graduate of Oswayo Valley High School and is employed by West Brothers Construction Company in Millport.
The wedding will take place on August 31.
Swearingen. Their attendants were Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Smith, brother of Mrs. Bieser and sister of Mr. Bieser, and Mr. and Mrs. Donald Ord-way, a nephew of Mr. Bieser. Mrs. Bieser is the former Edna Smith, daughter of Earl and Tirza Smith. Her husband, "Fritz" is the son of Walter and Lizzie Bieser. They have one son Bradley, who is engaged in farming with his father on their dairy farm. Hosting the affair will be Mr. and Mrs.
John Palmer, sister of Mrs. Bieser, who also had the same wedding date in 1932. Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Smith ana Mr.
and Mrs. Bradley Bieser.
People As They Pass
Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Terrette and three children and Miss Ginger Craven, all of Ken-nesaw, Ga., recently spent a week visiting the Hassinger home.
Last Wednesday, Mrs. William Stangle and daughter, Sandy, from Albrightsville, attended a birthday party for Miss Sandra Stangl at the home of Mrs. Mary Hassinger.
