I use FTM, but am equally frustrated with their programs because I am trying to upgrade from 2005 to 2014, and it will not sync the sources with the person. Currently, I have more than 88,800 people in my family tree (probably half Wetzels) and will spend the rest of my life manually connecting the sources, which all appear when transferred. So, I am currently using the program with my old computer, whose screen no longer works. I have it hooked up to a monitor, and have to have both computers together on the desk to do research and enter data. Ridiculous, but it works. If you have heard of any fixes for this, let me know.
It's cool to hear about your Vance connection. It wouldn't surprise me if you were related to his family too. As for my Wetzel line, I will put it out here in skeleton format, since the tree would be about 100 pages. Here goes:

Every single one of these people was born and died in PA save the immigrants and those still living. The people in the first tree started in Northampton, Lehigh, then Schuylkill. The people in the second tree made their way to Berks from Lehigh.
The usgenweb.org was working on a migration project, but I don't see any information on their website. Basically, back then, there were Indian pathways that showed the most convenient ways to traverse the countryside, woods and mountains, and white pioneers followed them. The Moravians of Bethlehem followed the paths all the way to North Carolina, and had a settlement in Graceham, Frederick Co., MD which has all sorts of Pennsylvania names in the cemetery. They conducted marriages between one member from Bethlehem and one from Graceham, and kept in contact with each other.
Let me know if you have questions. I have no information about Rebecca BARKER other than her name. I inserted an approximate death date based on remarriage information. I will see if I can find anything else.
